In just 10 minutes and with a few simple ingredients, you can whip up your very own cashew butter. Best of all, there are no added sugars or preservatives—just pure, nutty goodness.

  • 2 cups roasted and lightly salted cashews

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 to 3 tablespoons of coconut oil (for smoother consistency)
  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted cashews (for added crunch)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cashews: Start by placing the roasted cashews into a high-speed food processor.

  2. Process the Cashews: Turn on the food processor and blend the cashews on high for about 5 to 7 minutes. Remember to stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl. This will ensure that all the cashews are blended evenly.

  3. Check the Consistency: The longer you process, the smoother and drippier the cashew butter will become. If you prefer a thicker texture, you can stop blending earlier.

  4. Add Optional Ingredients: If you find that the cashew butter is too thick, you can add 1 to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. After this,Blend again until you reach your desired consistency. For extra crunch, stir in 1/2 cup of chopped roasted cashews after blending.

  5. Storage: Once done, transfer the cashew butter into an air-tight glass container. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.

Notes

  • Consistency Adjustment: If your cashew butter isn’t as smooth as you’d like, the coconut oil is a great option to help with that.
